The Agile Manifesto: Is it sacred?

Besides all people who worship Agile, there are a few who question the status quo. But even those people refer to the Agile Manifesto to prove their points! Why should we take the Agile Manifesto as the undoubtable, single source of truth?

Many of those who gathered around and composed the manifesto were interesting people and some quite brilliant. However,

it doesn't mean that they were omniscience, and

the wider community together, along with a 20 year window to practice and learn MUST be able to come up with something better.

Considering the Agile Manifesto sacred only blocks our creativity, progress, and individuality. Instead, take it as an inspiring source created by a few enthusiastic people who wanted to pass the torch to you; like what's normally done in the science community.
