RPG of One Capsule Progress #1

I'm reworking my solo RPG capsule's theme. The one that I'm using Hugo to generate. I'm starting from scratch and using the gemini capsule hugo theme I made for this capsule. I feel like it's generic enough to work.

I didn't delete the work I've done. It's got workarounds I had to implement to make the pages render the way I want them to. It just feels like a mess compared to the one I made for this capsule.

The theme rework isn't the only thing I want to talk about here. I've been facing some difficulty settling on a system to play with. Not just that, I'm not sure which story I want to tell either. I thought I would be more excited for Eclipse Phase, but when I started looking at the character sheets and whatnot, it felt overwhelming. I'm already sinking time and effort to set up a space to host the recaps, I would have to put in more to integrate EP2e into the generator.

Ironsworn/Starforged had a similar issue. While making the character is much more streamlined, the progress tracks, clocks, etc, have been challenging to integrate. I need more time to ponder on solutions that will communicate it clearly.

I picked up Troika! off of drivethruRPG. It was kind of silly because turns out I have it on itch.io already. Oh well. But this time, I took a closer glance at it and found the character creation a lot less of a chore, which usually means less needs to be done to integrate it into the capsule.

Does this mean I'll be playing Troika! instead? It's possible. It's labelled as a science fantasy, and it's pretty out there. I'm curious what kind of story it might pull out of me.
