Is it ever worth it to whore yourself out to $megacorp for lots of money? Whats the minimum amount of time that makes it worth it? Asking this genuinely.

For "lots of money", no, regardless of the amount. For the exact amount of money you need at one point -- need, not want -- it can be. It's generally not a good deal, but depending on what cards you were dealt in life, it may still be the best you get ¯\_(ツ)_/.

IMHO if you have to wonder whether a particular amount you're being offered is worth it or not, then it's not worth it.
