Can't remember if I mentioned, but once upon a time I created a fictional, Beatles-centric song spoof band called "the gdbeatles" for coworkers of a couple software teams I was on - you know, just to keep those naturally occurring software development suicidal tendencies at bay.... :-)

However, even the Beatles did covers, so thus did the gdbeatles as well!

I included one of them at the site mentioned in another thread, called

'Til There Was GNU

which actually rose to the level of Richard Stallman awareness, which felt like I nice little cap feather.

Those of you in said game might enjoy - if not feel a slight loosening of the noose.... ;-)

I genuinely think you could go to SF or somewhere hispter/nerdy like a college campus and sing this busker style, and really get a standing ovation from passersby
