Midnight Pub

A wine please!

"Thank you bartender."

I look around the pub from my new vantage point. All the people around here seem very nice; That must be why I got the shady corner.

Oh well, the weather hasn't been too cold, and I've still got my thick long coat on.

I hook my fingers around my glass and lean back in my chair.

I whisper to myself, "This is nice", then take another sip of the crimson liquid. The wine is bittersweet and warming, reflecting the flickering of the fire on its surface.
