I just had a stroke of genius while skating home from the cafe moments ago.

"Pushing sidewalk" as a slang term for traveling by skateboard.

Please immediately adopt this vernacular among your sk8trboi friends, thanks.

I normally don't do short form, stream of consciousness style posts but I needed to get this published somewhere as *soon as possible* so that everyone can start using it.

It's pretty amazing how the Internet allows us to precisely track the changes in common parlance. Books aren't the same since there's a barrier to entry as to what gets printed or even put to page, but here on the Internet, I can just force my way into the minds of the millions (possibly billions) of readers reading this website right now.
