I Now Have a Tinylog

The Tinylog

There’s the nagging feeling that I should cross-post from my Fediverse account, because automatism. But I didn’t like this idea in, let’s check, 2013, and I don’t like it now. I will just link to the post, in which I published those thoughts, which are in German, because I was too lazy to translate it then, and I’m sure too lazy to translate it now. Users of Lagrange can use the translation feature, which in this case produces some chuckles, but works quite well overall.

Social Media’s Bad Habit: Crossposting

Tinylogs can be subscribed to in either GTL or Lagrange. I subscribe to tinylogs in Lagrange by subscribing to the tinylog page (Bookmarks > Subscribe to Page… > Entry type “New Headings” + Ignore HTTP(S) links > Subscribe). When refreshing feeds (Bookmarks > “Refresh Feeds”), tinylogs will be checked for updates as well, and all updates will be put under the day entry of the day when the feeds were refreshed. This will only work for future tinylog entries when subscribing, because you just visited the tinylog page for subscribing to it, and the headings have been marked as read.
