Feedback and Validation, Engagement and Performance

Sometimes I miss the direct and immediate feedback of social media.

Most times I’m happy to not hunting down notifications.

Sometimes I miss validation for something I wrote or created.

Most times I’m happy with just expressing myself.

Sometimes I miss engagement for the right reasons.

Most times I’m happy to not spending time in the engagement treadmill.

Sometimes I miss the ability to post for a larger audience to achieve higher metrics.

Most times I find myself avoiding performative aspects of publishing to not corrupt myself.

I just want to be, but sometimes, yes, sometimes I want to be among people and share things.
