How Would You Feel If Google Indexed the Geminispace?

If Google would start supporting the Gemini protocol and indexing the Geminispace, presumely to make better SERPs for users of the Geminispace available, would you feel bad about it?

There couldn’t be any advertisement and tracking on Google’s Gemtext SERPs, obviously. So, no harm done.

Would you feel bad if the Geminispace’s content would be available on Google’s SERPs on the WWW, but linking to Gemini pages? It surely would spread the word and allow for more users to know about and experience the geminiverse and the slow web.

But there would be advertisement and tracking on Google’s HTML SERPs, obviously. So, harm done, but showing a way out.

Would you feel bad if the Geminispace’s content would be available on Google’s SERPs on the WWW, but only being accessible through a web proxy? It might spread the word and would allow for more users to know about the geminiverse, depending on the content.

But there again would be advertisement and tracking on Google’s HTML SERPs, obviously. So, harm done, but maybe showing a way out, if people read the right proxied content.

I think I’m okay with the first, find some upsides in the second, but wouldn’t like the third option.

Having companies help non-commercial endevors is always a slippery slope, but good search would help a lot. A pact with the devil.
