Hello Again

I took a bit of a break from writing on my capsule. Considering that I really just started writing this Spring, it wasn't a full-fledged hiatus. I have failed to maintain my practice of daily writing. That's okay. Life gets in the way. Now I will try to rekindle it.

The Gemini ecosystem is still plodding along. It was nice that I did not receive notifications and alarms trying to capture my attention. I am grateful to Alex for keeping flounder running for people to host their capsules. It is nice to come back to it and have a look around.

Recently, I bought the Seren Gemini browser from the Google Play store to try it out. I was using Deedum on another device and wanted to try out a different app for my phone. Both applications work fine. They get the job done. It would be nice to be able to resize the text but I like that the apps are both slimmed down. I really like using Amfora. Perhaps I can get that working with Tmux.

My family is on vacation in Florida now. We took our baby daughter to the beach this morning. She really liked playing in the sand and feeling the water on her feet. It is nice to see my wife happy and relaxed. She had such a hard year teaching school. She needs a break.
