The workflow of making a post

I've got this pretty much setup for Gemini now and am going to expand to https very soon™. But what I want to talk about is how I make these posts.

What I do is I fire up my VS Code and open a WSL terminal. (I can't switch to Linux just yet) and make a new post. I start babbling like this and then I am suddenly done with my post. What I do then is I run my ./export.sh script and it generates the static page with gssg, it makes a tarball then uploads the tarball to srht, I still want to add more in terms of posting to HTTPS. I just figured out gssg exports an atom.xml file in posts so let's apply for CAPCOM and Spacewalk.

Other rambly bits

I have also applied for geminispace.info's search engine so let's see if I get indexed. I plan on making the HTTPS post through Github Pages. But I'll need to convert the gmi files first to HTML before doing anything fancy. The process will probably be "make post for gmi -> run export.sh -> gssg generates gmi public files -> public gmi files get converted to HTML in other folder -> copy HTML files to Github Pages

What programs do I use

ReviOS (21H1).

Visual Studio Code

gssg

> ReviOS is just a modified image of official windows to reduce latency and improve performance

Anyways Knijn's out!
