Game

We live within an overwhelming game

It shapes the every way we think and act

Where everything we see appears the same

We're scarcely able in personal tact

To resist or just meaningfully tame

Do we really know much more than contract?

It's like in the Matrix, or Inception

The world around us is pure fantasy

All that we see is vain conception

Filling some with contrived ecstasy

Or others hardship without exception

Yet we are supposed to show courtesy

To all this blatant death and deception?
