It's raining outside, as it often is here. Puddles form. The sky darkens. Wind howls. This weather often causes feelings of gloom or despair, but this time I feel a kind of beauty to it. The seasons change, and humans live throughout it all.
Rain pours. I got new windshield wipers yesterday. The old ones were smearing droplets rather than clearing them. The boring things in life. The calming things in life.
I don't have anything extravagant more to say. It's just nice to have a bit of a calming stormy presence during life's turmoils.
A verse from Isaiah seems applicable:
> When you pass through the waters, I will be with you,
> and through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
> When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned,
> and flame will not scorch you.
Isaiah 43:2
