Aren't you a Christian?

Yes. I am. Just because of that doesn't mean I don't believe in magic. I most certainly do. For me, it's a way to aid my fellow man, to benefit others as much as myself. It's something I don't take lightly. I wish to be very careful with it as it can also be a detriment as much as a boon. Therefore, my rule is -

> If I don't know what I'm doing, or if what I am doing makes myself and others absolutely uncomfortable, cease at once!

And right now, I am only comfortable with:

oils

herbs

tarot and oracle cards

palmistry

astrology.

How do you balance your identity as a faekin with your faith?

There once was a lay theologian and philosopher named Paracelsus. He wrote a book - "A Book on Nymphs, Sylphs, Pygmies, and Salamanders, and on the Other Spirits". This title argues for the Fae and the Elementals, as they are a part of creation. As such, studying these spirits, per Paracelsus, is important to understanding nature, which is important to understanding Christ and to appreciate the Bible.

As such, I take interest and comfort in this theologian's work, knowing that he at least saw the Fae as fellow created beings, worthy to join in the songs of the Saints and crying out "How much longer, O Lord?".
