Just a day or two after I set up my gopher server, I

started coughing all night. At first I thought it was

just a bad cold, but after talking to a doctor and running some

tests (and waiting some more days), it turned out to be

whooping cough, or pertussis.

For a week now, I've barely slept, but the antibiotics seem

to kick in now, so last night I had precious three hours

of uninterupted sleep and things seem to get a little better

now. Let's hope next night will be even better.

In other words, my entré to the gopher space was not so

perfectly timed. I was jst too tired to improve my gopher

hole, and I still am. Luckily, I was able to read more

phlog entries and discover new sites.

Inspired by some other people, I decided to upgrade my

Palm III. I found a cheap originally boxed Palm m505

online and ordered it. Still waiting for the package, though.

I guess that's it for today. Cough, cough.
