Cilce (pronounced “shil sheh” which means “wilderness”) is a color palette that Inkscape, MyPaint, Krita and the GNU Image Manipulation Program can use.
It’s based around my favorite color, Classic Mars, #b0381e.
It’s a little pauvre in the yellows and sometimes you want darker or lighter colors. So it’s usually not the be-all, end-all when I do stuff but just a practical picker for all kindas hues.
It’s meant to be a grid of 5×16 colors, plus five shades of gray, plus white.
I’ve used it for years and years; not as my only palette but as a default for lots of things.
