For the first time ever today, I ran 10 kilometers. It was not really a goal, as I value more regularity than peak performance, but I'm very proud!
Looking for jobs and handling interviews is so stressful for me, it doesn't make sense. Even if I'm good at what I'm doing. Even I don't really need a new job right away, because I already have one. I don't understand it.
Trivia Night at the bar was kinda less fun while doing Dry January. Or maybe I just wasn't in the mood. Also they charge $5 for a glass of ginger beer!?
Getting fast food on the interstate highway might be the most surprising American experience I had so far. Beside the fact that there is a million different fast food chains that are very similar, it seems that everybody order their food "to go" and do not eat in the restaurant.
Then, we move back to our car, and eat in the car in the most incomfortable way. I even witnessed a complex burger eating operation while driving with one hand on the wheel. It's a small thing, but that's something else.
Happy New Year! I have many things that I want to write for the new year to come, and the one that we closed. But for now, I'm quite busy with my hangover.
This is my first tiny log. The concept seems fun and easier to maintain that writing full Gemini entries. Maybe I could keep up with it? Probably not, but I like to try new things.
