I'm starting back into auxlanguages and after doing a basic in Esperanto many years ago I'm returning to Ido for it's improvments over Esperanto. Particularly as I want to upgrade my BBS to an Auxlang theme and Esperanto's 100+ year old problem with special characters was managed by Ido just not using them! Any thoughts?

I think Stand Up Maths' is the suscribed maths channel on my feed. I'm more of a practical maths person working in land survey, civil enginnering and CAD but not at all lost to the beauty mathamatics.

It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while, but I’m not making any promises; my schedule may fill up again. Committed to getting identity updating done asap though!

> Hehe, I'm the opposite of you. I started to use Slackware recently, only ever booting Windows 10 when I need access to some very specific software. My computer cannot tolerate any compatible Windows version properly and it's driving me insane that every second boot starts with a BSOD. Maintaining Slackware is less painful to me AND my aging computer but I may just be a hobbiyst that doesn't maintain a server or VM's.

Gemini chat also seems interesting, in that it's a sort of chat wall people can write messages to at any time. One of the other capsules that's a good visit for music is higeki.jp/fanden/ which seems to be a music project that incorporates synth sounds and experimental noises.

Personally I don't like the idea of allowing users to do any formatting outside of the Gemtext spec because that is what renderers are designed around. I cant read half of the posts without changing my orientation which goes against the whole idea of minimal formatted text.
