I haven't been writing much here or my actual gemini site I'm hosting.

I'm actually doing a lot even though everything seems to be descending into madness & fire around us.

I'm preparing for a talk at Roguelike Celebration on a generative poetry project I've been working on on & off all year. That's in two and a half weeks.

I'm trying to write a bunch of grants so that maybe next year there will be actual money again for teaching

I'm trying to wheel & deal with schools, stem hubs, & other not-profits to try and get us some work so our org doesn't completely die

I'm also going to be starting a couple month long music workshop, the zFestival, in only their second cohort. I filled out the application for it even though I'm not a traditional musician and I shared a lot of my weird stuff with them as my artist samples and they...accepted me? So that's neat. I'm pretty sure it's going to be mostly classically trained musicians and then this one weirdo working on algomusic art pieces

So, yeah, it feels like a lot of people in my neck of the woods are just falling into despair but here I am hoping to still carve out a future worth living out.
