Stayed home from work today

I woke up last night coughing and stayed awake awhile, worried I'd got the 'vid. This morning I emailed my supervisors, and told them I was staying home, out of an abundance of caution. So I've been home all day, with nothing to show but a sore throat and an aching shoulder. Hopefully my affliction is just allergies and age, but in the back of my mind, Death lurks, snarling and gnashing his teeth. That's a little extra, but it's there.

In other news, I tried installing EXWM; It's a little too extreme for my use at this time, but I will keep working on it. I'm also considering whether I want to use evil-mode still. I just don't know.

I've been reading the discussion on FOMO, content fire hoses, gemini, etc., but I don't know quite what I think about it. Maybe I'll respond at some point.
