My wife is currently reading Dune for the first time. I haven't read it in 20 years or so, and it is making me want to re-read it. That said, I am NOT excited about the new movie adaptation. I happened to see the trailer... it looks like literally every movie that has come out in the past 5ish years, generic marvel-starwars-disney-action-melodrama-with-hans-zimmer bs. Hard pass.
