I definitely get the worry. Almost any cold symptom brings to mind the worst possibilities these days. I've heard enough horror stories of how bad it can go to make me really not want this thing. Fingers crossed for allergies and slept weird on the shoulder. I don't know how to offer any support beyond my well wishes, but know that you have them and I hope you are already feeling a bit better by the time this pops up on spacewalk.

You could spend the time at home not just ditching evil mode but emacs altogether and just switch to Vim full time :-p (vanilla vim with a decent vimrc ftw!)
