Hello my fellow geminauts,


I know it has been a few days since I last posted but here I am. Today was a stellar day. In order to loose the weight one not only has to eat properly and healthy but one has to engage in exercise and walking is a great way to burn calories and feel good about yourself. Well, despite the odd weather these past few days which force me to stay indoor, today I managed to go out for a walk. I went to my local strip mall (for those of you reading this who are outside of the USA, a strip mall is an area with a few retail stores and a supermarket outdoors). I went the long way around and then went towards the pharmacy. I figured since I was there I may go to purchase what I needed of which they didn't have. I went to the supermarket and nothing. So, I went back home the long way and arrived home.


I have one of those pedometers downloaded on my phone. Before I left my house I turned it on. I came home and turned it off before I entered. It recorded 3282 steps and I was in utter shock. My goal was to walk 1,100 steps today so the application told me I had achieved my goal by 326%. I almost rolled over and died laughing but that is an inspiration, means all I have to do to burn some of the calories is to walk. I love to walk as it is and now with this new power diet I feel more energetic.
