Why you should consider migrating to Gemini

Are you tired of slow, distracting and straight-up annoying websites? Are you tired of trying to come up with a good-looking design for your website just to re-build the whole thing a week later? The modern web has reached a mess that is bound to only get worse. If you want to upgrade your blog and go back in time, then Gemini is an alternative that you must consider!

Gemini will finally allow you to focus on your raw, pure text content. With a markup language (gemtext) similar to the wide-spread Markdown, you will never use a static site generator again! Blogging is supposed to be fun and relaxing, not a cumbersome process of patching CSS code and getting lost in a chaos of themes and scary options.

How to get started and host for free

So what are you waiting for? Go write your first .gmi file and publish it on the net! There are plenty of free hosting options out there: I personally use gemlog.blue[1]. If you're new here and want to learn more about the Gemini Project[2] follow the second link down below! Good luck on your new blog, or gemlog as it is called here!
