I really enjoy cooking. I definitely need more time to practice, but on weekends I have the chance to try new stuff and it makes me feel I accomplished something good (programming is different). also, eating a delicious meal after you're done is a nice reward.

would a tamales stand be a good idea in Japan? depends on the place, I guess. I think it might have a chance around Shinjuku as comfort food for drunk salarymen.
