I don't have a complete understanding of japan's economic situation right now, but it doesn't look too good. due to the country being closed because of the pandemic, some are arguing that with no influx of foreign workers the prices are only going to increase. also, foreign investment numbers might receive a big hit if the money that used to come to japan goes to other attractive countries in the region, like south korea or singapore.
