Very lame answer, but I'd pick 3 of my international friends. It's about the only way we'd be able to hang out.

You only have an hour to prepare a 20 minute speech on any topic. What will you choose to talk about?

I'd get up there and give a sermon about why everyone needs to get weirder.

If you could be whisked away to a fictional world of your choosing, where would you go and why?

There are too many good answers to this question. Either Animal Crossing to live my comfiest and happiest life, Tamriel if I get to be a khajiit. I'll settly in Leyawiin somewhere comfortable, and maybe be blessed with an argonian wife. If that's not amenable, then I'd go for Gielinor. Amlodd district in Prifddinas, Tirannwn.

You get to choose a superpower! What are you picking?

Selective mind reading. I have to have the ability not to use it, that's important. I'm aware most people think this is awful.

What's something that always makes you laugh?

The one time I accidentally typed cumpter insted of computer in 2012 and I still laugh about it today.

You get instant mastery in a language of your choosing, which do you choose?

I'm going to cheat and misinterpret a question I myself asked. I choose C.

If you could become an expert at anything, what would it be?

Divination. I'd conclusively prove my expertise by divining winning lottery numbers.

What's a place you've always wanted to visit and what draws you to it?

Tintagel castle. My mum wrote a poem about her experience visiting there in the 80's, and I have it memorised. I'll probably publish it here when I digitize it later on down the line.

If money and qualifications weren't a problem, what would your dream job be?

I love what I do at my job recalling faulty/dangerous products. I'd do it for free if my needs were being met. I'd do it better without capitalism in the way.

If you could teleport anywhere right now, where would you go?

If it's two way, I'd love to be writing from the lookout at the top of Springbrook mountain instead of outside my house.

What's your favourite book and why does it resonate with you?

The Messenger by Markus Zusak. I won't spoil it, but the whole point is that acts of kindness can make a difference.

What's your go-to comfort food?

Either pasta with butter, garlic, herbs, and lemon juice; or soft boiled eggs with toast soldiers; or lemon butter toast. A cup of tea usually helps too.

What can always cheer you up when things are tough?

Some time alone in the dark with a computer.

What's your favourite lyric and why?

This is another hard one because there are so many that mean so much to me, but one is a standout because I got it tattooed on my chest. The song is Parabola. The lyric in question is "Choosing to be here in this body / this body holding me / be my reminder here that I am not alone in / this body, this body holding me / feeling eternal, all this pain is an illusion.". I was totally incapacitated by chronic illness that most everyone believes is psychosomatic (and most people think I "got better" and don't know that I'm still quite ill. That lyric got me through feeling like I wanted to get out of my body as it betrayed me. Trying to use mind over matter to feel better because I believed it was all in my head too.

Do you collect anything? What do you collect and why do you like it?

I collect a ton of stuff. Cat related everything, dragon plushies, retro / vintage electronics, other electronic gadgets and parts, rocks and crystals, bones, fidget toys, peach scented things.

You get to spend a day as an animal. Which do you choose?

What's your most recent new interest?

Probably Gemini! I've been writing content for a week and my page is, at the time of this writing, still in "Hello World" mode. I have cadaver up and running, I sorted our certs, keys, ports, and filepaths. Hopefully I'll be uploading everything soon...

Do you have any hidden talents or skills that most people don't know about?

I can memorise song lyrics quickly and not lose them even after significant time periods. I can also speak really fast. This means I can rap like crazy but it's so awkward because I'm such a nerd.

If you could live in another time period, past or future, which would you choose and why?

I like modern medicine and tech. I don't want to be a doomer but I don't have the highest hopes there are many good times still to come so, I'd probably only wind back a few decades, just for the better economic and climate conditions.
