Why it's fascinating

This is what I do in my life many times, but in my head. I world-build all the time, and make up stories and random situations with my friends, in front of my friends all the time. It's like a performance. Even when I'm out in public, I'll see something like a fast car speeding down the street and immediately I'll draw up a story in my head of how it's in some kind of video game evading cops with epic music playing.
