I've decided that I'm simply going to title all of my gemlog posts with the date. I'm unlikely (I think) to post more than once a day, but I'm very likely to cover multiple subjects in a given post.

Computer names

I've noticed a few posts about what naming scheme people use for their various devices. I only recently have gotten to a point where I have more than one computer, so this is something that I actually need to consider, and possibly write down. Right now everything either has it's default name, or a name based on it's manufacturer.

There were a couple of other things that I wanted to mention/comment on, but they have all seem to have disappeared from my brain. If anything pops back up in the next few hours, I'll just edit this post.
