hi there gemini users! I discovered gemini today through a Youtuber named DistroTube.

this community seems awesome and i'm glad to be here.

as a first post I want to talk about stuff that's recently gone on in my life..

before the Corona virus I had this group of friends I used to hang out with. they were a big group and no one really knew each other well. It felt fake, but I had no one else, so I stuck with them.

when the virus started to spread in my country (Israel) the lockdown came with it, and that caused school to stop. that meant I had no real contact with this friend group, and slowly but surely I started to hang out with them less and less, apart from one of them. My friend, who ill call frank (fake name for his privacy). so me and frank started to hang out on our own. me and him go way back, to another friend group. we both realized how fake our friends were, and started talking with out primary school friends. today, the lockdowns are still in place, but i'm with a new friend group, a new social circle which i feel is so much better for me. I'm finally happy!

and then something even better happened. I started hanging out with some girls from my class and we became good friends, and now my good friends have gone from a small group of 4 to 8! that just feels great and I've been in a great mood the past couple of days lol.

in the extra time I had because of lockdown I also discovered Linux, which is another great community I am glad to be part of.

other than that I've been getting great grades and such so my family is happy too.
