A Gemini client* is needed for the following links.
> First, Red Hat did a trick[1] with their open source code, so that if anyone who uses their GPL rights to share the Red Hat code, loses their subscription. (Well, that's how I understood it. Please give it a read yourself to make sure.)

> Gaining trust is hard, losing it is easy. And it does seem this has been quite a blow to Red Hat and Fedora, but maybe it shows positively in other ways. Who knows.
> I shared my opinions on their forum, but yes, I'm cynical enough to think my voice doesn't really matter. I could've been less "sharp-tongued" about it in those posts, but *dude im just so tired.*
> My personal feelings on the matter is that I hope all goes well, but I will try other distro offerings in the meanwhile and see how it goes. I am tired of worrying over such things anyway, so it's easier for me to move.
> So, I recently got back into Usenet and thought it would be cool to browse through old historical posts, especially the ones in the old gopher groups. You can actually find a bunch of collections dating as far back as 1981 on archive.org. They've got the Giganews Usenet Collection, Usenet Historical Collection, and Henry Spencer's UTZOO NetNews Archive.
> Inspired by actually getting this Gemlog started, I've decided to create a list of other things I want to do:
> * Setting up the RPi and TV for emulating games. * Investigating how to use Linux productively with keyboard only. * Solder the kits I have lying around. * Finish the text formatting library I was writing for FreeBASIC. * Write the game I was planning in FreeBASIC.
Gemini links can be opened using Gemini software. It’s like the World Wide Web but a lot lighter.
