ssh games

Would you like to play a game without leaving the comfort of your terminal?

Of course you would.

You've come to the right place.

The games

Hunt-ng

ssh hunt@sshgames.thegonz.net

password: kalte

Sneak around a maze and shoot people. Including me, if I'm around.

It's the classic BSD game hunt, but with colour and a sensible timing system and stuff.

Intricacy

ssh intricacy@sshgames.thegonz.net

password: intricacy

You pick ASCII locks with a pair of ASCII tools.

Then you design difficult-to-pick locks for others to fail to pick.

It's a hardcore puzzly game, in which figuring out the obfuscated interface is only the first of many challenges!

Lagrogue

ssh lagrogue@sshgame.thegonz.net

password: lag

A simple roguelike, with an evil twist: you're controlling a robot which is some lightseconds distant from you, so your commands are processed a few turns after you give them.

For some inexplicable reason I thought this would be fun.

For some even less explicable reason, I do find it fun.

Also features a ludicrously complicated cave-digging algorithm.

Simulchess

ssh simulchess@sshgames.thegonz.net

password: simulchess

It's just chess. You know chess.

Oh, except that black and white move at the same time.

Ckhet

ssh ckhet@sshgames.thegonz.net

password: ckhet

It's a board game with lasers. Kind of fun.

Talk

ssh talk@sshgames.thegonz.net

password: tavla

A strange game where you converse in realtime with something that could almost pass for human.
