Playing

You'll need a client certificate to play. You perform actions by entering imperative commands at the prompt ("attack ape", or just "a"). See the in-game help menu for details.

Technical details

This is the latest (2023) development version of Kerkerkruip 10, with some hacks for playing over gemini. These include gemini formatting in the output, as well as a 'ghosts' file and scores so you can see how other players have been faring. To make that work, there's a fixed dungeon seed each day, so everyone is playing the same game each day. You may like to consider it dishonourable to play (much) more than once a day, since you will have prior knowledge of the dungeon, but this isn't enforced.

Note that it's perfectly fine to take more than one day over playing a particular game, even if it means you may be too late to appear in the daily score board. Your game will be saved when you quit, and you can continue it later.
