Secure Boot, UEFI 'security', or "Restricted Boot" as the FSF calls it (for the goal is not really security but control and domination by a remote/distant vendor), is a great threat to computing freedom. It was primarily promoted by Matthew J Garrett and covered in the following posts over the years.
