19:29 DaemonFC; If it's looking bad, flush it out and use Blue Devil and water as an intermediate step, and then once all the corrosion and filth and Death Cool comes out I might switch to Prestone Extended Life Yellow.
19:29 DaemonFC; That's supposed to be a "universal coolant". It's on the market for when you need a top off coolant that's not going to piss off orange, green, pink, or red.

23:42 DaemonFC; I think the restricted coolant flow was the source of the problem. So I was right that there was a problem in the intake manifold area, but it wasn't really the carbon and gunk so much as it was rust, debris, and other Dex-Shit.
23:42 DaemonFC; So we flush that out, restore normal cooling system operation, throw in a new thermostat just because we're in there anyway, de-gunk everything, new gaskets just because the parts are cheap, and sew it back up.
