Summary: António Campinos should never have been in charge of the EPO
WE have just published this article about EPO President António Campinos and how he got his promotions. Like Benoît Battistelli, he was pulling strings behind the scenes, so we ended up with two people who have hardly any grasp (regarding patents) in charge of thousands of patent examiners, urging them to grant European software patents disguised as fashionable buzzwords that help fake ‘innovation’ and ‘growth’. The bullying helped distract from their incompetence (insecurities). The only thing that actually grew was corruption. █
