Summary: Whatever the so-called ‘Linux’ Foundation touch will turn into dust; they’ve already killed the site known as Linux.com and now they scatter the “Linux” brand to the wind (in pursuit of misbranding cash)

THE Linux Foundation continues to demolish the brand "Linux" by associating it with Microsoft, proprietary software and then mass surveillance as well. The video above goes through two press releases [1, 2] and then 3 puff pieces [1, 2, 3].

“People who subscribed to that site for news have since then moved on. There’s nothing of value to be found in that site after the Foundation fired all the staff (writers and editors), replacing them with someone from Microsoft.”To make matters worse, as noted towards the end of the video above, Linux.com has been turned into a marketing ‘spam’ site of the Linux Foundation, not even remotely about GNU/Linux. As can be seen at the top (near the “eye” icon), those pages — or three examples from the same day [1, 2, 3] — receive very few views because it’s just marketing ‘spam’ in what used to be a news site for nearly 20 years. People who subscribed to that site for news have since then moved on. There’s nothing of value to be found in that site after the Foundation fired all the staff (writers and editors), replacing them with someone from Microsoft. █
