🎲 Farkle! Overview and Rules

âš… Play Farkle!

What is Farkle?

Farkle is a dice game played with 6 dice, a pen, and paper. The object is to make as many of the dice "scoring" dice by picking out valid combinations for points.

In this gemini version of the game, you don't play directly against another person, rather, you score as many points as you can in 10 rounds, once per day.

How many points to win?

Normally ten thousand; however, in this version you try to get as many points as you can.

Is this multiplayer?

Sort of.

It's hard to create a head-to-head game on Gemini, so instead, the object is to get as many points as you can in ten rounds, and top other players that day on the leaderboard.

Farkle Rules

You have 10 rounds to get as many points as you can with 6 dice (see 'Farkle Points' below)

Each round, you have 1 or more rolls of the dice

Each roll, you MUST take AT LEAST ONE valid scoring die from your roll

After each scoring roll, you either keep your points, or risk them on another roll. If you "farkle!" aka "bust" (no scoring dice) on any subsequent roll, you /lose your points/ for that round.

A "farkle!" (aka "bust"), is when you roll the dice and have no scoring dice. You receive 0 points for that round and advance to the next round with all 6 dice.

A "fill" is when you make all 6 dice scoring dice. You then have the option to keep rolling or keep your points. You can have as many fills as you want, provided you think you can keep doing it.

After round 10, you will be redirected to the Leaderboard for that day to see the standings

Come back the next day and try again

Tournament

Farkle! has a tournament feature where the top 3 finishers for each day are awarded points towards a monthly total. Monthly leaders are shown on the tournament board.
