A fairly uneventful week

The past week has been fairly uneventful. I've resolved some more kinks at work to the point I'm able to get stories completed.

One of the big issues I've ways had with new web dev projects is just how fragmented all the different frontend and backend services are and the lack of documentation on how they are all connected and to where. You're expected to follow your way through the API call sequence but being separate code bases, and potentially different architecture and languages, it requires a fair amount of code reading to make your way to the actual place you're looking for. I guess that's what Swagger is for. Might be something I push for in the future.

Other than that the first week of school has ended for the oldest kid. Seems to be having no issues with the full emersion program. I definitely need to get back into a routine to beef up my vocabulario, but now i have a good motivation to continue.

Now for a gloomy, rainy weekend.
