tables rant - 2023-10-17

yet another place that visit has implemented the choose a table first stupidity. this does not work for solo people that have coffee/tea/meal/whatever.

it is not possible to choose a table then go and order and be sure that someone else has not then taken the table.

i cannot leave my stuff unattended at a table either while ordering; theft, security.

i may not even be able to see what number tables are free.

so black mark for Le Friquet Garden Centre; on the list with the manchester airport T3 central pub.

first world irritation.
