exped medium pillow case rc1 - 2022-12-01

second attempt at the pillow case for my exped medium pillow. no fabric measurement: the pillow on the fabric, judged where to cut the fabric.

after cutting the fabric:

fold and hem the short sides to the wrong side.

lay out the fabric wrong side down.

fold one short end up to the length of the finished pillow case.

fold the other end over to cover to the length of the finished pillow case.

overlock the long edges.

turn the short of the pillow case inside out.

turn the rest of the pillow case inside out.

i used an overlocking foot on my Bernina but if i had an overlocker i could have used that instead. i used the eversouseful blind hemming foot:-) and double hemmed, 'cause i think that it looks better like that.

this basic design could be adapted for other things; cushion cases. i could try a cushion case version with velcro to close the open end?
