alpha pv frame - 2022-10-26

i built the frame around the pv panels (resting on 100 mm insulation board to protect the panel).

38 x 63 CLS treated.

a mix of screws - i will replace these now that i have appropriate wx resistant screws. 100 mm for the main frame joints, pre-drilled to avoid splitting the CLS.

frame held down with concrete gravel boards (6") and an old door lintel (like really heavy lol).

the gale two nights ago stripped bits off the half-finished roof: my pv frame stayed where i left it:-) was a worry however!

2022-10-16 - (119K) pv kit pallet.

2022-10-18 - (80K) alpha frame built around pv panels.

- 2022-10-22 - (117K) alpha frame build.

- 2022-10-22 - (85K) alpha frame built and weighted down.

so with my first frame attempt built i iterated and started the beta frame.
