A Short Hike

Every now and then a game just clicks with you in a way that very few do. A Short Hike is probably my favorite game that I've played in the last several years. Impressively created by one guy, Adam Robinson-Yu, and with a single collaborator providing the excellent soundtrack (Mark Sparling). It is not the longest or most expansive game but it really evokes that child-like spirit of exploration and wonder like few games do. I'm purposely avoiding too many details about the gameplay because it is one of those games that was so much fun the first time around going into it blind that I don't want to spoil it for anyone. A MUST PLAY.
