We went thrifting and plant shopping today and picked up a few neat things. A rattlesnake plant, some other leafy green plant my wife picked out and the kids picked out a small cactus and succulent. Another really neat find was an old Airguide analog thermometer/barometer/hygrometer. Some cursory searches have indicated that it could be from 40s-60s but we aren't sure just yet. My wife was especially excited about this find being a Meteorologist. It's a pretty rad piece and it actually has a useful function.
We took turns going in some of the shops and when it was my turn to wait in the car I was able to do some reading on the Palm Pilot. I also used the PDA as a scratch pad to jot down the shops we were heading to and their addresses. Now I'm sitting on the patio as the sun sets typing up this post on the folding keyboard I use with the Palm. It was a good day.
