Days Off From Computers

Computers have been an obsession of mine for a long time and I really do enjoy playing with them. Sometimes though I just need a day or a few away from them. Things have been a little quiet on the capsule because I have taken a couple days to really limit my computer time. I didn't completely cut them out but I have barely sat in front of one for about 48 hours and haven't done anything of substance until this afternoon. I did read a little gemini on my ereader at the beach but I'm not counting that as computer time. It feels good honestly but my projects and toys always lure me back in. This is not a bad thing because computers can be fun but I need that balance of stepping away occasionally.

I have some things to add to the capsule that I may start getting to in the next couple days but a more urgent project presented itself in the form of my music server going belly up :-O! After some waffling on the fediverse I decided on pulling out one of my other recon sentinels (little surplus network security device with a PINE64 Rock64 SBC inside) and replicating my previous setup of mopidy + snapcast because it works great and has been super reliable. The music server recon sentinel has taken it's place on the shelf next to the gemini server recon sentinel. Current song info on the lcd display is coming soon and maybe I will mount them to the wall or something nicer looking too.
