Cato doesn't like IPFS

When running an IPFS daemon you should not have turned on Cato VPN.

In my job I often have to use the Cato VPN client to connect to company resources.

Now I already two times got a virus scan request from the IT department because

my computer connected regularly to a "known bad site" and

because my computer does "port scanning" on the Cato network

Of course the virus scan didn't find anything.

At the first incident I used my firewall to block access to the given IP address.

Two weeks later I got accused of doing port scanning.

Lessons learned:

Cato does monitor your traffic and reports to your company. Possibly they even intercept and analyze the traffic.

Don't use IPFS on the Cato network. P2P software seams to easily trigger their alarms.
