I have loved computers since I was introduced to them in college, but was directed away from being a computer geek by a classmate of mine that was studying computer science at the time. (Dude was interning at AOL at the time, before AOL became huge.) Eventually I found myself a nice job as the tech guy for a healthcare company, and now I work for a non-profit agency that works with kids. I get to 'play' with technology all day at work. I love my job! I am now in the later stages of mid-life, married with three adult children and three wonderful grandchildren. My "hobbies" consist of playing around on the computer, reading (mostly crap sci-fi and fantasy, occasionally history and other stuff), watching our country's young professional rugby (union) league, watching k-dramas/comedies, and every so often going mountain biking. Raising kids and remodeling our 150 year old house has left me too little time to engage with my hobbies the last handful of years.
