Today's plan was to meet up with a buddy and ride together to an event that included riding as well. It's cold this morning (relatively speaking) and we had to leave by 8:30am to get there. I was not completely disappointed when my buddy called off going to that event and instead suggested meeting a little later after it warmed and just riding by ourselves. Unfortunately, he contacted me again and couldn't ride at all, so that left me in a state of preparedness that I didn't want to squander. I decided to ride by myself for a couple of hours and enjoy the cooler temperatures and sort of start to acclimate myself to cold weather riding. Additionally, the leaves are turning colors (and falling) and it's just a great day to enjoy nature.

After returning from my 2 hour ride, I gathered up some of the extraneous yard waste that's been piling up on the trailer and took that down to the convenience center in town for disposal. I hadn't realized that the place was a swampy mess, but fortunately I did not become stuck. Upon returning from that adventure I spend some time with the Mrs. who was home for lunch break and then I went to the gym.

Mid-afternoon at the gym is not too busy and I got a good work-out in and then sat in the sauna for 20 minutes. I didn't eat breakfast or lunch today so it was a little difficult but I'm starting to get used to fasted training little by little.

After coming home I realized I needed to go to the grocery store to pick up the ingredients for dinner and had just enough time after coming home from there to put dinner together.

After dinner, I called another buddy and we had a good time catching up with each other. He's a true friend and I always look forward to our conversations.

We talked for about 30-45 minutes and then I went for a walk in our neighborhood to round out the day/night. I stayed busy all day and although I didn't accomplish an extravagent amount of tasks, I considered it a full day of activities and by bed-time I was ready for it.
