First things first, thank you for the space offered here by Ctrl-c Club for this little capsule to escape gravity.

Thumbs up for the Gemini project: part of the internet can be reclaimed, text can be published and hosted and read in a blink of an eye. No complexity, just straight to the point pages. This is exciting.


me and what I am recently up to.

I am a Linux enthousiast with 55 imaginary robot friends. Some know some stuff, some have projects to learn more.

I like Tech in general but not only. In fact, I keep on jumping from one thing to another.

Scuba instructor is my main activity but spring 2020 decided otherwise and well back to square one, with a lot of free time, at home, in confinement. We are blessed cooking books and computers are real.


More recently, am busy with:

getting more old laptops a fresh Linux install (AntiX, MX, Artix...)

putting some clumsy fingers into Emacs 28

distro hopping from Ubuntu, Debian, MXLinux to FerenOS and AntiX

wondering if a Asus EeePC 4G with 512MB of RAM can be a daily driver, so far no. But still a nice machine for the command line and radio, and ready texts.

Blog has been killed, I am now considering Write.as or even better host a Gemini server

walking around the countryside, so often, that I got myself a tiny bit of land and some fruit trees.
