I have survived moving!

And what a journey it was

I **would not** recommend having tons of stuff.

I **would not** recommend having so much going on besides needing to move (cuz it's not much of a choice, so much as a "If I value the rest of my life working out good, I've gotta do this" sorta thing).

I **would not** recommend having easy access to IT surplus, cuz I've got way too much of this junk to keep. It'll be Christmas for somebody at the local thrift shop, or possibly **shiver** Facebook Marketplace.

I **would** recommend having a sane and functional support system of friends and family. They make the job easier. Even if "you're harshing my jam with all this stress" is somehow the mentality of some of them despite *the reason they're even helping me today* is because it's a STRESSFUL MOVE.

But a rant about weird intersocial stuff and less-than-joyful family expectations is a can of beans for another day. They might be a pain in the ass, and often, but they're *my* collective pain in the ass, and still helpful.

It ain't much but it's home

All things considered, I'm quite happy with where we wound up. Mrs Donut and I will probably stick around here for a while, at least in the general area - if not this very home - because we already like how it feels compared to other places we've been.

Plans for the summer

I hope to use some of this space to get some planter boxes for home crops done while the growing seasons are still young. Cuz April is when you'd want to be putting down roots for certain crops and others won't even matter till May, as far as I remember. It's exciting! I have a chance to run a few of these crops from plant to harvest in an environment where they'd (probably) survive!

Until next time

I think that's about it for now.

Cheers,

Donut
